The highly anticipated Missoni for Target line launched at 6:00 AM yesterday, 9/13/11. Its stylish zig-zagged pieces attracted a mass influx of fashionistas and bargain hunters alike, causing a major server crash by 9:00 AM. Target’s servers weren’t prepared and neither were the hopeful shoppers (like myself) who foolishly expected to get their Missoni midday or – dare say it – a day after the launch!
