Social TV is hot. Robert Sillerman, the man behind “American Idol”, has a new company Function(x). It will have a loyalty app known as Viggie, This will allow you to check into TV shows, get points, and then use these points to get rewards from participating companies.
Content will also include polls and quizzes.
With Social TV like this, the whole concept of “couch potato” may need to be revamped!
