Director Matt Heineman was interviewed by MSNBC to discuss ESCAPE FIRE: The Fight to Rescue American Healthcare, which as you should know by now is opening in theaters across the nation on Friday! During the segment, Heineman discusses his inspiration for working on the film, the military’s role as a microcosm for the American healthcare system, and the issues that could arise as the healthcare industry evolves. Heineman argues that one of the biggest flaws of our system is that it is a disease management system rather than a disease prevention system that profits off of sickness rather than health.
