I was reading an article in the New York Times about how the music of today sounds just like the music of “back-then.” While reading, I was thinking that this theme holds true for so many different industries: music, fashion, photography, art, film, you name it! Some music examples that popped from the article were the following, and it is so, so true:
Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” – 1960’s rhythm and beat
Cee-Lo Greens “Forget You” – 1970’s soul
Lady Gaga’s “Born this Way” – 1980’s Madonna
Kesha/LMFAO’s Albums in full – 1990’s club
