Mom’s The Word On Dinner, Ragu’s Latest Hit

By: Adam Risenberg

The world might be stumped as to what these two babies are babbling about, but as the masses attempt to decipher these twins’ secret language, we at OgilvyEnterainment know exactly what they are talking about.  They are discussing the launch of Ragú’s new 20 part web series about one of their favorite topics.  Dinnertime!

Outsiders with nutritional advice are constantly instructing moms on how to best feed their kids well.  To the delight of these twins and mothers everywhere, Ragú has recognized that nobody knows better than Mom.

In recognition of this and to turn back the conversation around dinnertime to Moms, Ragú and an integrated Ogilvy team (OgilvyEntertainment, Ogilvy & Mather, OgilvyOne, and GSI), launched a new campaign for Ragú called, “Mom’s the Word on Dinner.”

The program unites real Moms through shared conversations around the realities of dinnertime and creates a community where Moms can share their dinnertime challenges and triumphs while celebrating the small wins together.

The campaign is centered on this unique 20 episode web series, which leverages the bloggers and community of 2million moms from momversation.com.

From veggies to manners, odd eating habits to mealtime memories, the bloggers are laying it all on the table by discussing dinnertime topics to which all moms can relate.

Parents can then join the conversation on Facebook.com/ragusauce where they can share their dinnertime stories for a chance to be featured in People Magazine.

On Facebook, consumers can find solutions, expert tips and recipes to help solve their dinnertime dilemmas. Videos are also syndicated through YouTube, Momversation.com and key bloggers.

It won’t be long before Moms everywhere know what our babbling twins already understand. Ragú is on to something meaningful.  They are fostering a dialogue that will help make meals a better experience for family’s everywhere.
