NYT Launches Beta620, a Site for its Experimental Projects Mashable 08.08.11

Two brands are doing it right my friends, Garnier and Rolling Stone Magazine. They launched the contest “Do You Want to be a Rock and Roll Star?,” allowing fans to help Rolling Stone find the next big musical act that will be featured on the cover of the August 2011 edition. What musician wouldn’t want to be on the cover of the most influential magazines that has covered so many amazing, famous and life-changing acts from Bruce Springsteen to The Red Hot Chili Peppers. This contest came to life through partnerships such as Garnier (that I mentioned before), Atlantic Records and AOL Music.
